Next Batman Game Could Be Called 'Arkham Crisis'

Ever since that Court of Owls tease, we've all been waiting for Warner Bros. Montreal to reveal their next Batman game. It will presumably be a part of the Arkham series since the company did developer Arkham: Origins, though Warner Bros. didn't port that game to current systems. Well, if this report is true, it looks like the next game in this series will be called Batman: Arkham Crisis.

Just to be clear, this is a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, many thought that the next game would be called Batman: Arkham Insurgency and we still haven't seen that. So, try to not be too excited.

According to Segment Next, Warner Bros. Montreal want this title to be a Game of the Year contender, with the developers planning to make this a Halloween 2019 release. The game will supposedly be announced in March, so we won't have to wait too long for it, assuming that it's true of course.

The main campaign is said to be ambitious, lasting 12 different chapters and having a separate co-op mode that will have its own side quests. These rumors also claim that the map will be a bit bigger than Grand Theft Auto V, which would be amazing. Then again, there is such a thing as too big.

Would Batman: Arkham Crisis be a good name for the next game? Let us know in the comments below.
