Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker served as the final installment of the Skywalker Saga. Jurrasic World's Colin Trevorrow was originally attached to direct Episode IX. Various plot details and concept artworks about his film have been released over the past year, but a new one shows an epic change in appearance for Rose Tico.

Kelly Marie Tran made her debut as Rose Tico in The Last Jedi, she went on to reprise her role in The Rise of Skywalker with shorter screentime that some fans were upset about. In the concept art for Trevorrow's film shared by Collider's Frosty Weintraub, the character sports some heavy Resistance artillery and a cool helmet along with some goggles. You can check it out below!

While Rose went on to participate in the final battle at Exegol with the Resistance, the character wore a much more toned down and modest uniform in The Rise of Skywalker. Abrams' film has plenty of similarities to Trevorrow's, with this piece seemingly resembling that of the final battle in the theatrical cut.

This would have been a totally cool new look for Rose that fans would have liked, considering that the character had much shorter screentime compared to The Last Jedi.
