Rosario Dawson Teases Thrawn's Role in Ahsoka Series

Following her appearances in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano is set to make her next appearance in her own series Ahsoka which is set to make its premiere next year. While most of the plot details are under wraps, it's been speculated that part of it will center on the titular Jedi's hunt for Grand Admiral Thrawn.

During a Q&A panel at her recent appearance at the C2E2 expo (via Laughing Place), Dawson was asked about Grand Admiral Thrawn's potential involvement in Ahsoka. While she didn't give away any specific plot details, she did tease the villain's role in the series and confirmed that the namedrop on her Mandalorian appearance was a clue to the show's story.

"That dude, man...incognito. Maybe we get the Scarlet Witch to help us, she can jump through Multiverses, right? Let’s go, girl!," Dawson said. "Yeah, I mean, that’s a really big key kind of giveaway in Mando about what my show could potentially be about. Obviously, we are really trying to track [Thrawn] down, so we'll see what happens."

So far, Lucasfilm has not made any announcement or confirmation on the actor that they've cast to play Grand Admiral Thrawn. However, there are speculations that Ray Stevenson, whose casting news didn't reveal any specific details regarding his role, was tapped to play the iconic villain.

It looks like we finally have the confirmation that Thrawn will have a major involvement in the series and will be hunted by Ahsoka throughout the course of the plot. It is curious to see how they are going to handle the iconic villain's live-action appearance and whether Ezra Bridger will also show up as some fans have also speculated.
