It's been said countless times already that The Mandalorian is responsible for reinvigorating the Star Wars universe and its unprecedented triumph pretty much opened the door for Lucasfilm to expand the franchise. Of course, none of it would be possible without the existence of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau who many fans consider the new forefathers of Star Wars.

Speaking of Filoni, Ahsoka Tano actress Rosario Dawson recently made a revelation about the Star Wars director and producer that she believes will get her into trouble. During an interview at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (via Laughing Place), the star of the upcoming Ahsoka series shared a much-needed update regarding the progress of the show.

Turns out that one of the episodes has already undergone post-production and left Filoni quite emotional. Rosario shares: "So, I will say this. I will probably get in trouble for saying this, but Dave [Filoni] saw one of the episodes already edited together, and he walked up, him and Carrie Beck, both, like, glossy-eyed, and he said to me that it was 'a religious experience.'"

Obviously, Filoni holds the Ahsoka Tano character near and dear to his heart as he was the one responsible for the creation of the beloved Jedi. And considering his track record of being in touch with what the fandom wants, it looks like Ahsoka will be another banger for Star Wars.

As it stands, other details about Ahsoka remain undisclosed but the show is expected to hit Disney+ in 2023.
