Rogue One Director and Producers To Judge Star Wars Fan Film Awards 2016

Back on February, J.J. Abrams announced the Star Wars Fan Film Awards 2016. Now, we know who will be judging them .

On the Star Wars official Twitter page, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards and co-producer John Schwartz announced in a video that they'll be judging the Star Wars Fan Film Awards for 2016. The team would be joined by executive producer and "visual effects legend" John Knoll.

"It's a dream come true to make a Star Wars film," Edwards said, "but you have that power, too," he continued, referencing Luke Skywalker's famous line about the Force. Edwards said that they "can't wait to see what you come up with, and also share our little fan film with you later this year." Submissions go through April 24.

I'm super excited to see the best Star Wars fan films this year.
