Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’s Chirrut Gets Hot Toys Darth Vader & Chirrut Figures

Before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story debuts in theaters this month, Hot Toys has revealed two more characters who will have their own 1/6th scale collectible figures.

The first is none other than the galaxy's biggest resident villain Darth Vader. His likeness in the Hot Toys collectible figure is molded from the new film. Check out that forceful pose alone—I can picture him giving an impassioned speech to rile the Imperial soldiers against the Rebels before the big fight takes place.

The other figure is from none other than Chirrut Imwe, the blind warrior monk who's heroic enough to plan something big against the Imperial and the Death Star.

"One of the most exciting new characters introduced in this epic film is Chirrut Imwe, a blind warrior monk from Jedha. Chirrut believes all living things are connected through the Force, and his profound spirituality makes him a formidable warrior crucial to the Rebels' desperate attempt to steal the plans of the Empire's devastating super-weapon—the Death Star."

Chirrut's 1/6th scale collectible figure takes on eh likeness of his movie counterpart, from the tailored costume, weapons, and accessories, to the head sculpt from Hong Kong actor and martial artist Donnie Yen.

Chirrut will also have a Deluxe version, which is available only in selected markets. This version features a diorama figure base with a Stormtrooper helmet and special package design, seen below.

These two are great memorabilia for those who are planning to expand their Star Wars collection in time with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It's also the last in the line of 1/6th scaled toys, so you can take your pick as early as now.

Preorders are already out for the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story toys.
