We've already seen a glimpse of Star Lord's origin story in the animated Guardians of The Galaxy series, and now, Marvel Entertainment has released two new clips that show Rocket Raccoon's origin story.
In the first clip, Rocket is taken away from his family to be a subject of a strange experiment. After he is transformed, he meets Groot for the first time, who is in desperate need of some water. In the next, Groot helps Rocket remove his collar, which leads to Rocket stealing a ship and taking on his captors.
Guardians of the Galaxy the animated series premieres September 26 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Disney XD, with two back-to-back episodes. A sneak preview of the first episode will air September 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
