Robert Rodriguez Hypes Up The Book of Boba Fett, Says The Mandalorian Episode 'Was Nothing'

We already have high hopes for The Book of Boba Fett but Robert Rodriguez just can't stop hyping up the upcoming Star Wars series. The Alita: Battle Angel director now claims that the action-packed episode he directed in The Mandalorian Season 2 "was nothing" compared to the new Disney+ show.

Last year, fans were thrilled when Rodriguez was confirmed to direct an episode for The Mandalorian Season 2. Chapter 14: The Tragedy brought back Boba Fett in what is viewed as the most action-packed episode of the series. So it's no surprise that Rodriguez is claiming that The Book of Boba Fett will exceed expectations.

"I've got so much to tell you about that, but I'm out of time," Rodriguez told The Nerdy Basement when they asked about the show. "Yeah, I can't say anything about that, sworn to silence. I can say I'm working on it and I can tell you it's gonna blow your mind."

Rodriguez then referred to Chapter 14 and made a quick comparison to the new Star Wars series.

"You saw [Boba] arrive in my episode of The Mandalorian, that was nothing. That was nothing. I can talk it up all I want because I know it's gonna deliver, I know it's gonna over-deliver," he said.

We're loving how Rodriguez is confident that The Book of Boba Fett will be truly astounding for fans. Needless to say, we can't wait to see the show later this year.

The Book of Boba Fett will bring back The Mandalorian's Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. The series has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere on Disney+ by December 2021.
