Robert Pattinson Wore George Clooney's Batman and Robin Suit for Screen Test

We've already seen Robert Pattinson don the cowl and cape in the trailers for The Batman. However, that isn't the first suit Battinson has worn so far. The former Twilight star has revealed that he had to put on somebody else's Batsuit when he did a screen test. Amazingly, Warner Bros. made Pattinson put on the one worn by George Clooney in Batman and Robin!

Robert Pattinson recently spoke to Eiga about The Batman and the former Harry Potter actor confirmed he had to wear an old Batsuit when he was called in to do a screen test. Interestingly, he confirmed that he was given Clooney's Batsuit which wasn't the most comfortable suit to act in.

"It looks cool, but it feels like a nightmare. I can't move. I was sweating all the time, and I was scared that I couldn't do anything with this," Pattinson said with a laugh. He then pointed out that the Batsuit he wears in the Matt Reeves film is so much more comfortable.

"My suit is not only very cool, but it's also incredibly well designed. Even if I play a fight scene with a lot of movement, I can move anyway," Pattinson said.

It's crazy to know that Clooney's Batsuit may have been Robert Pattinson's lucky charm that helped him land the role in The Batman. For now, we haven't seen any photos that were taken during that screen test but it would be awesome to see Battinson's first unofficial suit.

The Batman is set in the hero's second year of fighting crime where he uncovers corruption in Gotham City while pursuing the Riddler, a serial killer who is targetting Gotham's elite. It also stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell.

The Batman hits theaters on March 4, 2022.
