Christopher Nolan is one of the most celebrated filmmakers in Hollywood today, and basically anything he touches turns into box office gold. His next film had just cast Robert Pattinson as one of the lead characters, and Pattinson was apparently locked in a room to check out the script.

Talking to USA Today, Pattinson shares:

"I got locked in a room to read the script – I don't have it myself… I've been a little wary of doing big movies for years and years, but there's just something about Chris Nolan's stuff. He seems like the only director now who can do what is essentially a very personal, independent movie that has huge scale. I read the script and it's unreal."

With Nolan's Dunkirk feeling like it was smaller in scale, a lot of people are curious as to what's in store for his still unnamed project. The movie has been described as an action blockbuster, and everyone is hoping this will be Nolan's next Inception or maybe The Dark Knight.

Some are actually guessing that this movie is going to be DCEU's Green Lantern Corps. The film has two leads, Pattinson and John David Washington, who could easily play the roles of Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart. What's more, the secrecy around the movie is very curious. Why would they be hiding so much if it was an original project and not an adaptation?

The only possible reason why it couldn't be a DCEU film is that I would think that Nolan would be too… artsy to do another superhero movie. After something like Dunkirk, why would he jump right back in to comic book films? Don't get me wrong, I'd be onboard if it was, it just seems out of character for Nolan.

Either way, people are starting to get excited on what Nolan has in store. The movie is set to come out July 17, 2020.
