While Robert Downey Jr's days as Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe might be over, that doesn't stop him from being a hero in real life.
Taking to Instagram, the actor strikes the iconic Iron Man pose as he pulls the "old repulsors out of retirement" for a good cause. Of course, the repulsors are actually energy blasts he uses to fight his enemies, this time though, he's selling handprints with autographs in the name of charity. You can check out his post below.
It is been known that Australia had one of the worst wildfires in history and has caused the lives of both people and animals of different species. There's already a handful of celebrities and notable names in the business who has donated and spread awareness about the fires, and Downey's way of helping is possibly the coolest and best way he can.
Of course, this isn't a teaser or hint that indicates the actor's return in the MCU, given that his fate was sealed in Avengers: Endgame. That being said, it is certainly nice to see Downey embody the beloved character and is even doing this for a good cause.
The Iron Man star's latest appearance on the big screen is Dolittle, which is his first film post-Endgame. He will also star in a few more projects including Jamie Foxx's All-Star Weekend, and his most-awaited return in Sherlock Holmes 3 in 2021.
