Rob Liefeld Reveals New Character For Upcoming Deadpool Graphic Novel

After the success of Rob Liefeld's Deadpool: Bad Blood, the controversial comic book artist is hard at work for the sequel to the previous graphic novel Deadpool: Badder Blood. To tease the upcoming graphic novel, Liefeld shared a sketch of a new character called Shatterstorm, who will be making her debut in the new graphic novel.

The character looks similar to Shatterstar, another X-Men character created by Liefeld. There's a good chance that the two characters have some sort of connection, and with Cable in the cover of the graphic novel, we should probably expect some time travel. Whether the new character is Shatterstar's daughter or girlfriend is too early to tell.

Currently, Liefeld is staying tight-lipped about the character, so fans will have to wait for the graphic novel to find out more about the artist's latest creation. In Deadpool: Bad Blood, we saw a new foe for the Merc with a Mouth called Thumper, showing that the artist still has the drive to make new characters.

Deadpool: Badder Blood is slated for a release this June. It's not yet clear if Chris Sims and Chad Bowers will return to help Liefeld with the script, which the duo previously did in the first graphic novel.
