Ricky Martin is not yet done clearing his name after his nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, accused him of incest and sexual abuse.
Ricky Martin Claims Nephew’s Lawsuit Caused Him To Lose Projects, Tarnished His Reputation
According to Radar Online, Ricky Martin just filed a lawsuit against his nephew, demanding him to pay $20 million after Sanchez tarnished the singer’s reputation and caused him to lose some lucrative deals.
In the filing, Martin also claimed that Sanchez continues to bombard him with threats on social media even after the latter withdrew his complaints against his uncle.
“The present case is about a world-famous artist, who is being persecuted, besieged, harassed, stalked, and extorted by a maladjusted person, whose interest is to obtain an economic benefit or, in the alternative, will continue his eagerness to assassinate the reputation and integrity of the artist. The situation has continued despite Defendant voluntarily withdrawing from an action he had commenced against Plaintiff based on falsehoods, during which he admitted under oath that he had never been sexually assaulted by Plaintiff,” the filing reads (via CBS News).

Ricky Martin’s Lawyers Claims His Nephew Has Mental Health Problems
Months ago, Sanchez claimed that he and Martin had a seven-month relationship. And after he ended things with his uncle, Martin allegedly did not take the breakup lightly.
At the time, Martin denied the allegations thrown at him. And his lawyer, Marty Singer, also claimed that Sanchez is a troubled man who’s dealing with some mental health issues.
“Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with deep mental health challenges. Ricky Martin has, of course, never been — and would never be — involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew. The idea is not only untrue, but it is also disgusting. We all hope that this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But, most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed as soon as a judge gets to look at the facts,” Singer said.
Dennis Yadiel Sanchez Continues To Threaten Ricky Martin?
But even though it’s been weeks since Sanchez dropped his lawsuit, he is allegedly still messaging Martin and asking for a hefty payout.
According to TMZ, Sanchez threatened to assassinate his uncle’s integrity and reputation if he didn’t give him some cash.
Martin cried foul and said that he wants Sanchez to be banned from sending him and his family messages and from having any sort of communication with his family moving forward. After all, they all feel unsafe because of him.
