Rick and Morty Season 4 Opening Sequence Revealed

It has been a long wait but the day has finally come. Rick and Morty Season 4 will premiere on Cartoon Network tonight and just to hype things up, Adult Swim has unveiled the show's new opening sequence.

The new sequence for the fourth season still uses the same music but all the footage are new. There's Rick leaving Morty to fend for himself around dinosaurs, Rick falling through the sky and avoid things like he was in an MDK game, and a giant Morty emerging from the ocean. Interestingly, there's even a two-headed goose because, well, peace is obviously not an option. Something tells me that goose is going to be sticking around for a while.

So is the new opening sequence completely different? Well, sure. But it also has confirmed a possible tradition. There's still no sign of Jerry Smith.

So does this mean Jerry won't show up in Rick and Morty Season 4? That's highly unlikely since he appears in the clip that was released during San Diego Comic-Con. In the clip Glootie, Jerry and Morty have created an app company with their alien assistant (voiced by Taika Waititi).

Although the world is currently celebrating the premiere of Season 4, Jessica Gao has other things to be happy about. The Rick and Morty writer has just been confirmed as the head writer who will be developing a team for the upcoming Marvel series She-Hulk.

Rick and Morty Season 4 will air on Adult Swim on Sunday, November 10 at 11:30 PM.
