Rian Johnson Teases The Last Jedi Cameos Of Prince Harry and William

Last year, Britain's Royal Brothers Prince Harry and William decided to have some fun at the Star Wars: The Last Jedi set at Pinewood Studios playing with lightsabers, hugging Chewie and eating some cake.

The Star Wars visit spun a lot of rumors that the two would appear in The Last Jedi as First Order Stormtroopers and while director Rian Johnson did spill a few more details about the highly anticipated Star Wars sequel trilogy installment during Star Wars Celebration Orlando, it seems like the director' continues to keep a tight-lip on those alleged Royal appearances.

Speaking in an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Johnson was asked whether the Royal Brothers would really appear in The Last Jedi.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. I have no clue," replied Johnson, smiling. He then mimed as if receiving a transmission from an earpiece: "The last voice you heard…"

"I can neither confirm nor deny," he chuckled.

If the rumors are proven to be true, Prince Harry and William appearance in The Last Jedi will add to the long line of star-studded Star Wars cameos. Appearing in a Star Wars movie is every fan's dream, even for celebrities. Remember when Daniel Craig made a cameo in The Force Awakens as the First Order stormtrooper that Daisy Ridley's Rey tried to play Jedi mind tricks on? How about when Simon Pegg dressed as Unkar Plutt?

It'll definitely be fun to see how Johnson hides the two Royal brothers in The Last Jedi.

Featuring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong'o Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Benicio Del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, and Laura Dern, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to debut in cinemas on December 15, 2017.
