Reviews For Josh Trank's Fantastic Four Embargoed Until Release

When a studio embargoes reviews until the film is released in theaters, it's mostly likely a sign that the movie is garbage.

According to Senior Editor of New York Magazine/Vulture Kyle Buchanan, the reviews for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four are embargoed until the day it comes out in theaters (for print release) and until 4 P.M. the day before that for online reviews).

Review embargoes aren't that rare. Even Marvel embargoes reviews, but they they do it at a specific date so they can control the coverage and allow everyone to post their reviews at the same time. Marvel doesn't embargo them until the day of release either, they will sometimes embargo them for the Monday prior to release so that entire release week is dominated by news of the film.
