The story gets intense as Netflix’s Remarriage and Desires starring Kim Hee Sun and Jung Eugene, head to its second episode.
In addition, the 8-part episode series made it to the streaming giant’s top 10 TV shows worldwide.
As noted by Flix Patrol for its July 17 rankings, Kim Hee Sun’s new drama, Remarriage and Desires, lands on the eighth spot, next to the hit series Extraordinary Attorney Woo starring Park Eun Bin.
Interestingly, these two are the only K-dramas that entered the daily chart.
Remarriage And Desires Episode 2: Seo Hye Seung Warns Jin Yoo Hee
From being the grieving wife, Seo Hye Seung (Kim Hee Sun) becomes the revenge-driven single mother who wants to get back as her husband’s mistress.
In the second episode, she faced the truth after Rex’s account manager told her that being a divorcee, having a daughter, and considering her age might be a disadvantage for her to get a potential husband who belongs in the top tier group.
After the consultation, Seo Hye Seung came face to face with Jin Yoo Hee (Jung Eugene), who insulted her and called her late husband a “disgusting rapist.”
Now that Seo Hye Seung knew what she wanted and her goal for revenge, she warned Jin Yoo Hee that she’d expose her past to Rex if she would step back. It left Jin Yoo Hee feeling threatened and at a loss for words.

Jin Yoo Hee Turn the Tables on Seo Hye Seung
While Seo Hye Seung’s weapon of choice was Jin Yoo Hee’s questionable past and background, she saw an opportunity and how she could get back at the single mother.
Since she knew that Seo Hye Seung was a professor at ba university, she planned on using this and warned her that she would use her ex-husband’s embezzlement case and rape case for her to get fired from her job.
It means that she would be able to support her family and would have a hard time landing another job because of her negative image.
Cha Seok Jin Decides to Live with his Father
After his mother passed away, Cha Seok Jin (Park Hoon) opted to live with his father, Congressman Cha Yong Hwan, and his new wife, Choi Yoo Sun (Cha Ji Yeon), who runs the elite matchmaking company called Rex.
It can be recalled that Cha Seok Jin’s character was featured in episode 1 and seems connected with Seo Hye Seung’s past.
During his visit with his father, Congressman Cha Yong Hwan is thrilled that his son will be living with them and even wants to call Choi Yoo Sun his mother.
Unfortunately, that is not the case for Choi Yoo Sun, who clearly doesn't want Cha Seok Jin to live with them but has no choice because it was the congressman’s decision.
Seo Hye Seung Got Tips From Choi Yoo Sun
In the second episode of Netflix’s Remarriage and Desire, it seems like Rex's CEO shows warmth towards Seo Hye Seung.
After making a grand entrance and attending a talk led by Choi Yoo Sun, Seo Hye Seung took the opportunity to ask her about one thing.
“There’s someone I want to triumph over. So much that I wanted to kill them. I hate her to death” she said, and asked, “What can I do?”
The Rex CEO advised her to become a woman who is feared, and that is through wealth. Moreover, she added that Hye Seung should keep an eye on what she desires.
After their brief but remarkable conversation, Jin Yoo Hee tries to talk to the CEO but says she has another meeting, leaving her frustrated.
The next day, she returned to Rex and had a conversation with the CEO, and handed her a photo of Congressman Cha Yong Hwan and a baby.
She tells Choi Yoo Sun that she’s the illegitimate daughter of the congressman and wants to get paired with a black level member, and the CEO will make it happen.
At this point, she thinks that she has the upper hand over Choi Yoo Sun.
The Masquerade Party
With the special requests from the elite, Rex leveled up the matchmaking and had a VIP masquerade party.
Of course, Jin Yoo Hee brought her A-game and scanned a potential black level member who would be her next target.
She has been eyeing one stunning man who appeared to be Cha Seok Jin.
On the other hand, she bumps into Seo Hye Seung but wasn't sure because of the mask.
It seems like the duo will become rivals over one man who happens to be Cha Seok Jin.
