Ray Fisher Says Only One Cyborg Scene in Theatrical Justice League was Shot by Zack Snyder

Ray Fisher may be undergoing a legal battle with Warner Bros right now, but he's also out to promote the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max. As it turns out, most of Cyborg's original scenes shot by Snyder were cut from the theatrical release save for one clip.

Talking to the Geek House Show podcast (via Games Radar), Fisher revealed:

"But what I can tell you from my character, and for what you saw in the theatrical version, that every single scene with the exception of the Gotham City police rooftop scene with Commissioner Gordon and Batman and Flash and all that… every single scene that I'm in was reshot. I reshot almost the entire film with my end. As far as other people's stuff where I wasn't there, I can't really tell you."

This is possibly the scene that Fisher was talking about, but even then there are some bits of it that feel like they came from Joss Whedon, particularly the Flash being left behind to awkwardly exit:

From what we can gather online, we know that there were supposed to be scenes showing Victor Stone before his accident, and his father was also expected to die in the film. We don't know what else could be missing from the Snyder's original vision, but you can expect that he's going to go all out for the HBO Max release, complete with reshoots involving principal actors and Jared Leto.

No release date has been set for Zack Snyder's Justice League yet, but it will come out on HBO Max sometime in 2021.
