Travis Scott made headlines earlier this month following his outrageous Halloween getup which puts an unusual spin on Batman's iconic dark color scheme. In case you missed it, the American rapper unleashed his inner DC fanboy for the spooky spectacle and dressed up in a Batman costume inspired by Michael Keaton's Bat-suit from 1992's Batman Returns. However, his decision to drench the entire costume in a rusty brown color was quite a questionable choice for a lot of fans.

The post received an onslaught of criticism from netizens who ridiculed his brown Batman suit which according to them resembled a cockroach more than an actual bat. It even led to Travis temporarily deactivating his Instagram account although he previously stated that it had nothing to do with the backlash he received.

A few weeks after his epic Halloween fail, Travis has embraced the criticism and became a good sport about it. In his latest Instagram story update, he even shared a bronze statue of the caped crusader which resembles his now-iconic costume. Travis jokingly captioned: "They put me in stone." The amount of backlash he got for the costume was totally uncalled for as Travis clearly just wanted to have a little fun but hey, at least he gets to laugh about it now. Meanwhile, speaking of the Dark Knight, fan-favorite Batman actor Michael Keaton is currently in negotiations with Warner Bros. to join Ezra Miller's solo film, The Flash, which is set to tap into the DC Multiverse. Considering the Marvel Cinematic Universe is also diving into the crazy concept, it'd be interesting to see which franchise pulls it off better. At the end of the day, the fans are the ones winning.

The Flash which also stars Ben Affleck is slated for a 2022 release.
