Every Game of Thrones fan is probably super hyped about this upcoming Sunday's episode titled Battle of the Bastards, and apparently, there's nobody more excited for the episode than Ramsay Bolton actor Iwan Rheon.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 31-year-old actor, who plays probably the biggest villain in the hit HBO series, revealed how he has been waiting for the facedown for years. He said:
Anyone who has asked me, ‘Who would you like Ramsay to meet?' My answer has always been, ‘Jon Snow.'
He's the antithesis of Ramsay. They're almost a yin and a yang. They both come from such a similar place yet they're so different. And even though they're enemies, they've both risen so far as bastards, which is almost incomprehensible, and now they're both here facing each other. They couldn't be any more different, yet more similar.
We couldn't agree more.
Both their fathers are both lords of respectable houses and their mothers are low-born too, although that's not confirmed yet with Jon Snow. Both characters were able to gain higher positions in their fields due to their decisions in the war. Then again, their means for achieving their goals were completely opposite, and for Jon Snow, achieving a higher rank in life wasn't completely his goal in the first place.
Now, the two are facing off with their own armies, and Ramsay is leading the face-off with more numbers of soldiers. However, the loyalty of the armies who serve them are most probably different. At least we have Jon Snow winning on that front. There's also Wun Weg Wun Dar Wun. The giant could undoubtedly clear out 10 soldiers or so in one arm swipe.
We'll see who will win this battle when Game of Thrones airs on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
