RAIN and former INFINITE member Lee Howon (HOYA) met again during the latest episode of Street Man Fighter. During the meeting, the two exchanged secrets they had kept for a long time.

Kim Tae Hee’s husband, RAIN — whose real name is Jung Ji Hoon — has been a successful musician and record producer in the past years. He also established his own company twice while working as an idol and actor.

As he worked with aspiring K-pop idols and soloists, he once bumped into Lee Howon, who he reportedly rejected in the past.

RAIN Apologizes to Lee Howon

On the October 18 episode of the Mnet survival dance show, Street Man Fighter, Lee Howon and his crew, Mbitious, performed a new choreography for RAIN’s newest song, DOMESTIC.

As reported by SBS News, Lee Howon danced while taking on RAIN’s role. After the performance, he said he could not do it perfectly in front of RAIN.

"Being the main artist within the group itself makes me feel pressured. But what makes it worse is the fact that I'm a huge fan of you, RAIN. I've been a big fan of yours for a long time. You're my role model,” he said.

The former INFINITE member added that he constantly declared RAIN was the reason why he entered the industry. He surprised everyone when he revealed he auditioned for his company, J. Tune Camp, several times but got rejected. RAIN debuted MBLAQ under J.Tune Camp, on the other hand.

With that, the Rainism hitmaker apologized to him, but he received another powerful remark from the dancer about treating his performance as his fourth audition to his company.

Lee Howon Leaves INFINITE, Woollim Entertainment

Lee Howon’s participation in Street Man Fighter came years after he left INFINITE and its agency. His contract officially ended on Jun. 9, 2017, after staying with them for the past seven years.

The boy group originally debuted in 2010. All members after Lee Howon’s departure also exited the group, with Nam Woo Hyun as the last member to leave.
