Tom Morello might be known as the legendary guitarist of bands like Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, and Prophets of Rage but he's also a certified geek. In addition to being a self-proclaimed Trekkie, Morello has just proven he can do just about anything, including being a Dungeon Master for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.

Morello recently posted an awesome photo on his official Twitter account. The image shows several D&D books as well as a few polyhedral dice. Take a look at his tweet below.

"The neighborhood kids needed a Dungeon Master to start a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. One man raised his hand," Morello wrote, adding the hashtag #CommunityService.

First of all, it's awesome that Morello is going out of his way to understand the rules of being a DM and really embracing his new role. This is certainly the kind of wholesome content we would like to see from our favorite rock stars.

It's still unclear if Morello is doing a great job as DM but he could be getting some tips from another certified D&D player. Joe Manganiello responded to Morello's tweet with an invitation.

"Dude, when are you finally coming over to game...?" the Justice League star wrote.

We're certainly hoping that Morello takes up Manganiello's invitation so we can see these two amazing men do a campaign. For now, we're glad that Morello is eager to help his neighborhood kids enjoy their game.

In addition to being a musician, Morello has played a Star Trek character twice. He had a brief appearance as a Son'a officer in Star Trek: Insurrection, a role which he reprised in the series Star Trek: Voyager.
