Queen Elizabeth has been raising concerns about her health after she spent a night in a hospital for “preliminary investigations.” While it was clarified that Her Majesty’s admission was not related to COVID-19, avid followers of the British monarch continue to worry about the state of her health.
Doctors advised Queen Elizabeth to rest and slowdown from her royal engagements. Because of that, the wife of the late Prince Philip was forced to give up her love in riding horses and canceled a number of trips to focus on her recuperation.
Now, new reports are saying that Buckingham Palace is hiding the truth about the real state of Queen Elizabeth’s health. Keep on reading to know more details.
Is The Royal Family Hiding Details About The Health Of Queen Elizabeth?
Broadcaster Piers Morgan has expressed his concern after he learned about Queen Elizabeth failing to grace the National Festival of Remembrance on Sunday due to her sprained back. Express UK shared Piers took to Twitter to react to the news about Her Majesty’s absence during held at the Cenotaph in London.
Piers Morgan wrote on the social media platform:
“The Queen will not attend the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London because she has sprained her back. There’s something we’re not being told about Queen’s health, it’s clearly a more serious situation than the Palace is saying.”
Buckingham Palace explained that Queen Elizabeth got “disappointed” that she was not able to attend the significant royal service. Most, if not all, royal followers can recall that the British monarch had announced her intention to attend the event after days of taking rest since her hospitalization in October.
In a statement, the palace stated:
"The Queen, having sprained her back, has decided this morning with great regret that she will not be able to attend today's Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph. Her Majesty is disappointed that she will miss the service."
Netizens were quick to react to Piers Morgan’s tweet, with most of them offering their well wishes to Queen Elizabeth. One Twitter user wrote:
"She is such an iconic woman, her age being what it is, the loss of her beloved husband must be taking its toll. I wish her only the best, and yes, there probably is a more serious scenario, but we keep being told how health is a private matter, so let's wait until she speaks!"
Another Twitter user penned:
"There’s no way HM would miss the service today unless she was really poorly. Very sad, she’s given so much to this country, wishing HM a very speedy recovery."
Queen Elizabeth and Buckingham Palace have yet to comment on Piers Morgan’s statement that there could be details about the monarch’s health that are not being revealed to the public. So, devoted followers of the Her Majesty should take this speculations with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
Prince Edward Takes Queen Elizabeth’s Spot On Foreign Office Balcony
Meanwhile, Geo TV reported that Prince Edward took Queen Elizabeth’s spot on the Foreign Office balcony. The Duke of Kent is a cousin of Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Princess Anne’s mother.
As previously mentioned, Queen Elizabeth missed the Remembrance Service this year, which would have been her first appearance since her shocking hospitalization. Prince Charles laid a wreath on Her Majesty’s behalf just like what happened in recent years.

Queen Elizabeth was also expected to view the annual service in central London from a balcony, which she has been doing since 2017, when she decided to hand over some of her responsibilities to younger members of the royal family. The said ceremony that honors fallen troops is close to the monarch’s heart, which is why many royal followers were saddened to know that she was not able to attend it due her sprained back.
Prior to this year’s Remembrance Sunday Service, Queen Elizabeth also pulled out of a scheduled attendance at the UN climate change summit in Glasgow, following her doctors’ advice to take some rest. Prince Charles and Prince William represented the royal family, instead, and made a series of appearances and talks to the delegates.
