Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked everyone when they announced their decision to leave the royal life for good. Though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed all the benefits and advantages of being part of the royal family, they still decided to step down and fly off to the United States of American to live a private life.
Rumors have it that Meghan Markle has caused a number of troubles between the members of the royal family. There were even claims saying that she is the primary reason behind Prince Harry and Prince William’s strained relationship.
Now, new reports suggested that Meghan Markle was forced to write a letter to her father, Thomas Markle Sr., to stop Prince Charles and other royal family members from allegedly berating her husband, Prince Harry. Keep on reading to know more details.
Meghan Markle Blames Prince Charles And Other Royals For ‘Constantly Berating’ Prince Harry?
Express U.K. reported Meghan Markle suggested she had written a letter to Thomas Markle Sr. to stop the royal family members from admonishing Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly complained that the Windsors do not fundamentally understand her dysfunctional relationship with her father.
Copies of Meghan Markle and her former communication secretary Jason Knauf’s email and text messages exchanges showed that the former Suits actress decided to write to her dad to appease her Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, who she and Prince Harry had stayed with at the Castle of Mey in Caithness, Scotland, in August 2018.

In one of the messages unveiled, Meghan Markle penned:
“The catalyst for my doing this is seeing how much pain this is causing H. Even after a week with his dad and endlessly explaining the situation, his family seem to forget the context – and revert to ‘can’t she just go and see him and make this stop?’ They fundamentally don’t understand so at least by writing H will be able to say to his family, ‘She wrote him a letter and he’s still doing it.’ By taking this form of action I protect my husband from this constant berating and, while unlikely, perhaps it will give my father a moment to pause.”

The text messages between Meghan Markle and Jason Knauf were the latest revelation of trouble between the Sussex couple and Prince Charles. However, this comes as no surprise to most royal followers as Prince Harry previously hinted, during their television interview with Oprah Winfrey, that he disappointed his own father.
At the time, Prince Harry told Oprah that Prince Charles stopped answering his calls as he and Meghan Markle attempted to map out a future role in the monarchy some time in 2019. The brother of Prince William said:
“But at the same time, I will always love him. But there’s a lot of hurt that’s happened and I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship.”
Meghan Markle, who was pressured to heal her spat with Thomas Markle Sr., claimed it was very illogical for her to travel to Mexico and see her father at his home as the media would likely cover it. Moreover, the Duchess of Sussex claimed she does not want to cause more embarrassment on the Royal Family.
Lawyers released the messages on Friday, Nov. 12, after a three-day court hearing earlier this week. Meghan Markle has yet to comment on these reports up to this writing.
