Camilla Parker-Bowles is salivating over her upcoming coronation as queen consort alongside King Charles, and she is already warning rival Princess Kate to show her more respect, a new report claimed.
Queen Consort Camilla Expects Kate Middleton To Fall In Line?
Sources have it that Queen Consort Camilla wants Kate to be under her thumb. An unnamed insider suggested:
“It’s been this elephant in the room for so many years since Camilla feels Kate merely tolerates her. But things are about to get very different. That means Kate – and everyone else in the royal household, for that matter – needs to fall in line or incur her wrath!”
Reports have it that Queen Consort Camilla is intent on cementing her status and demanding stepdaughter-in-law Kate indulge her every whim. Tattlers suggested the new monarch’s mistress, who played no small role in the destruction of his doomed first marriage to Princess Diana, the late mother of Prince William and Prince Harry – is eager to reap the benefits of her new position.
Another informant shared:
“Camilla is taking full advantage by attending all the key meetings while ensuring she’s thoroughly debriefed on those she can’t attend. Nothing gets done without her knowledge or consent – and that’s how it’s going to stay for the long term.”
While Kate Middleton has a reputation for being non-combative, spies suggest that the Princess of Wales is peeved by the way her monster-in-law is throwing her weight around. The same tipster insisted the dutiful princess would be supportive when it comes to following the decrees of King Charles – but she won’t let herself be cowed by Camilla.
The mole pointed out crafty Kate Middleton is no pushover—as she has proven by locking horns with Prince Harry’s American wife, Meghan Markle. To recall, the former Suits actress and her husband ditched royal duties in 2020 to chase Hollywood dollars in California.
However, naysayers stated Meghan Markle is still keeping tabs on Buckingham Palace and sees Kate Middleton’s difficult position as her big break. One source told National Enquirer:
“Meghan would never admit it, but it must give her a tremendous amount of satisfaction that Camilla has the upper hand. It spells opportunity, and that’s why Meghan’s making an added effort to get on Camilla’s good side. If Meghan does attend the coronation, you can bet she’ll be doing her utmost to build on their connection.”
Who Will Join Queen Consort Camilla’s Coronation?
Meanwhile, Queen Consort Camilla will be the first consort to be crowned at a British coronation since 1937. After the coronation, she will be styled as Queen Camilla, dropping the “Consort” from her royal title.
Senior royals such as Prince William and Kate Middleton will be out in force to support King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla at their joint coronation. She will also be receiving assistance from her trusted royal companions, which include Sarah Troughton, who is the second cousin of King Charles and is presently the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire.
Jane von Westenhold, a close pal of the King and Queen Consort; Fiona, the Marchioness of Landsdowne; Lady Katharine Brooke, daughter of Lady Susan Hussey, the late Queen’s lady-in-waiting for more than 60 years; Lady Sarah Keswick, wife to former Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick; and Baroness Carlyn Chisholm, a British life peeress and member of the House of Lords are also joining Queen Consort Camilla’s entourage.
The final guestlist for King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla’s coronation is yet to be announced. However, among the expected people are senior European royals, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, peers, foreign heads of state and several religious representatives such as Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis.
