Even though everyone is worried about its future, fans can't help but be excited over the second season of The Punisher, especially after the greatness that came from season 1. After the fates of Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage it's easy to see why we're all worried about this show. As we ponder on the fate of this show (and Jessica Jones), fans will be happy to see the synopsis for season 2.
Here's what Netflix revealed about The Punisher season 2 (via ComicBook.com):
Aside from confirming the return of Billy Russo, maybe in a more Jigsaw-like state, we also know that Frank will be going up against an alt-right leader and, presumably, his lackies. If season 1 is anything to go by, expect a lot of blood and gore to come from these encounters; just the way fans want it.
The Punisher season 2 comes out on Netflix this month, on January 18.
