Production Dates And Locations For Avengers 4, Captain Marvel And Ant-Man 2 Revealed


Sure, Marvel may be busy preparing fans for the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming, but that doesn't mean the studio's neglecting the other movies it has lined-up for production. Preparing for the end of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, new information on the filming schedules for some of its 2019 movies have made their way online.

Revealing the production dates in three different reports, Omega Underground presents new production information on the filming dates and locations for Captain Marvel, Avengers 4 and Ant-Man & The Wasp.

Though initial reports suggested that Captain Marvel would begin production by February next year; the site reveals that the Marvel film is set to start shooting by January 8 next year and then end on May 11.

Meanwhile, filming in Marvel's studio in Atlanta, Ant-Man & The Wasp codenamed "Cherry Blue" and Avengers 4 codenamed "Mary Lou 2" are both to begin production next month with the former set to begin on July 6 and the latter on July 17.

Ant-man 2 is expected to finish filming on November 30, 2017, while Avengers 4 is expected to complete its production on December 13 this year. Of course, while Avengers 4 starts filming next month, this is no confirmation that Avengers: Infinity War would finish filming this June.

Avengers: Infinity War releases on May 4, 2018, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, and Ant-Man & The Wasp on July 6, 2018.
