Priyanka Chopra Playing Opposite Chris Pratt in Cowboy Ninja Viking

Ever since Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt has proven himself to be quite the leading man, and he'll be on the spotlight once again for the adaptation of Cowboy Ninja Viking. News has it that the movie has found its female lead.

According to THR, Priyanka Chopra has been cast to star opposite Pratt. We still have no idea what her role is, but some suspect that she will be playing the role of Shasha, a personal bodyguard and pilot of a Dr. Sebastian Ghislain.

In the comics, Ghislain had formed a special task force made up of people with Multiple Personality Disorders, with the agents known as Triplets—because each agent is overtaken by three personalities. Pratt plays the role of Duncan, who can channel the skills of—you guessed it—a cowboy, ninja, and a Viking.

The movie is being directed by Michelle MacLaren who had directed some episodes for shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Westworld. Based on her experience in TV, this looks to be MacLaren's first full length film.

Let's hope she delivers.

Cowboy Ninja Viking is set for a release on June 28, 2019.
