Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Join the Matrix 4 Cast

It's no question that people are excited for The Matrix 4. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are already confirmed to return to the upcoming movie, and it looks like another star is set to appear in the film as well.

According to Variety, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in final negotiations with Warner Bros to join the Matrix 4 cast. While the actress is expected to appear in the franchise's fourth film, her role is yet to be revealed for now.

Chopra Jonas made her U.S. TV debut in the ABC show titled Quantico. She also recently starred and coproduced The Sky is Pink. She has over 60 films to her credit, and will surely be a fine addition to the Matrix 4 cast.

The untitled Matrix film will be directed by Lana Wachowski. Aside from Reeves and Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris will be featured in the movie as well. While fans are excited for other actors from the original Matrix trilogy to return, it was recently revealed that Hugo Weaving won't be reprising his role as Agent Smith.

For now, not much is known about the film yet, but The Matrix 4 is set for release on May 21, 2021, which shares the same release date as Reeves' John Wick 4.
