As we've seen in the past couple of years, the MCU has attracted a lot of high-profile talent to join its projects. Whether the role is big or small or it is simply a paycheck gig or not, being part of the MCU is seen as a lucrative move by most actors and the franchise's successful 15-year history has justified it.
Now, another notable actor has been recruited to join the franchise as Prison Break and The Menu star Paul Adelstein revealed on his Instagram account that he is currently in Atlanta, Georgia to film a part for a mysterious MCU project. He didn't reveal any details regarding the role that he is playing.
Adelstein's MCU casting was also never announced by Marvel nor reported by the major trades so this is the first time that we're hearing that the actor has joined the franchise. We might find out some of the details regarding his mysterious role and project soon enough.
If we could make a guess right now, the actor is likely filming his part for either Captain America: New World Order and Agatha: Coven of Chaos since those are the MCU projects that are in production at the moment. Blade and Thunderbolts are also set to begin filming soon so he might be in town in preparation for them.
Regardless, it is exciting to see that Adelstein is joining the franchise since he is a talented actor and perhaps he will be playing a meaty role where he can really shine and show his capability as an actor. There is also a likelihood that it's just a small role that is still worth it for him since he is part of the biggest franchise in Hollywood.
For now, let's just wait and see for more news and updates regarding Adelstein's MCU involvement in the coming weeks or months which would give us more clarification regarding his casting.
