Prince Harry will seemingly detail his rift with Prince William in the next three episodes of Harry & Meghan. In the trailer that was released this week, the Duke of Sussex said that the royal family lied to protect the Prince of Wales. But they refused to tell the truth to protect him and Meghan Markle.
Prince William A Forgotten Victim Amid Prince Harry’s Accounts About Princess Diana?
Following the release of the trailer, royal commentator Diana Esler said that Prince William appears to be a forgotten victim in Prince Harry’s stories about his mother. In the docuseries, he suggested that Princess Diana’s death affected him tremendously.
And while this is certainly accurate, Esler reminded the public that Prince William also dealt with the safe grief after his mom’s passing. But unlike Prince Harry, he never used the victim card.
“Something has become clear and that there is something of a forgotten victim in this sorry saga — ol’ William. [He was] the one who pushed their mother’s tissues under the bathroom door as she cried” and the one who “tried to support his brother when they were both grief-stricken teenagers. The now-Prince of Wales’ suffering generally gets lost when we talk about the Great Megxit Mess and in the face of Sussexes’ primetime keening,” she told Express.

Prince William Doesn’t Want Princess Diana’s Panorama Interview To Ever Be Used?
Elser also questioned Prince Harry’s decision to include a clip from Princess Diana’s 1995 interview with Martin Bashir. Last year, Prince William said that circulating or using Princess Diana’s Panorama interview should no longer take place.
The royal expert also noted what Prince William and Kate Middleton’s friend said during a recent interview. He revealed that the last three years must have also been very difficult for the Prince of Wales.
Other sources for Express also insisted that the royal family will no longer follow Queen Elizabeth’s mantra: never complain, never explain. Following Prince Harry and Markle’s docuseries, the royal family could soon adopt a new strategy.
“Kensington Palace officials are now adopting a new strategy of meeting controversy head-on rather than letting it fester,” a source said.
Accuracy Of Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Accounts In Docuseries Questioned?
Meanwhile, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams also questioned the accuracy of Prince Harry and Markle’s accounts in Harry & Meghan. He said that regardless of what the couple says, they do not have any proof to support their claims.
“The trailer for the next three episodes of Netflix’s Harry & Meghan has just been released. It confirms fears that it will be toxic. Meghan is ‘fed to the wolves.’ Harry says ‘they were happy to lie to protect my brother.’ Who exactly and what is the proof?” he said (via Cheat Sheet).
