Prince Harry Acted Like A Distressed Child In Response To Prince William's Text In Harry & Meghan, Expert Says
In the second part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries, they offered a deeper view of their relationship with the royal family. In the sixth episode, Prince Harry received a text from Prince William while they were having a conversation with their celebrity pal Tyler Perry.
"Wow. H just got a text... H just got a text from his brother," Markle said.
"I wish I knew what to do," Prince Harry said while his wife tried to comfort him, saying, "I know. Let's take a breather. Get some air and then decide."
The content of the message was never revealed. However, body language Judi James analyzed the scene and said Prince Harry reacted "like a small distressed child."
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Complimented Each Other Like A Mother And Child?
James shared the details of what she observed in the scene. According to her, the royal couple complimented each other because Prince Harry acted like a child, and his wife took on the maternal role.
"Harry's response to the text from William looks dramatic and childlike in terms of his body language," James told Daily Star (via Mirror). "Like a small distressed child he places his fingers over his mouth before holding his arm out fully extended to show it to Meghan, who adopts a more maternal role."
"His fingers go back to his lips as he re-reads, but then we see him in a childlike pose of distress, standing with his arms up and his hands holding the back of his head while his belly is fully exposed under his lifted t-shirt. Meghan's response is totally compatible with this childlike look. She stands to wrap her arms around him and to rock him gently.
Prince Harry Shared' Terrifying Experience' With Prince William In Harry & Meghan
In one episode of Harry & Meghan, Prince Harry recounted his meeting with his father, King Charles, brother Prince William and grandmother Queen Elizabeth when he decided to step back from his royal duties. According to him, the heir to the throne was so furious that the latter screamed at him.
"It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father say things that weren't true, and my grandmother quietly sits there and take it all in," he said in the documentary without elaborating what they said to him, New York Post reported.
Prince Harry also denied that he was onboard with the joint statement denying that Prince William bullied him and Meghan Markle out of the royal family. The Duke of Sussex claimed that he wasn't asked about it and was surprised when he learned about the joint statement.
"Once I got in the car, after the meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been put out in my name and my brother's name, squashing the story about him bullying us out of the family," he said.
"I couldn't believe it. No one had asked me permission to put my name to a statement like that. And I rang [Meghan], and I told her, and she burst into floods of tears. Because within four hours, they were happy to lie to protect my brother, and yet for three years they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us."
