Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's upcoming documentary on Netflix have received mixed responses from royal fans. Their second promo raised eyebrows because many felt they were aiming at the monarchy.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Trashing The Royal Family?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received another round of backlash from their critics following the release of the second promo of Harry & Meghan. In the trailer, Prince Harry reflected on his years when he was still in the palace.
"There's a hierarchy of the family," Harry said. "You know, there's leaking, but there's also planting of stories."
Some felt that the trailer was trashing the royal family, International Business Times reported. Many even took to Twitter and slammed the royal couple.
"Dear Meghan [M]arkle, You are a duchess, you are a millionaire, you are insanely privileged. You are not oppressed. You live a much better life than the brits you trash and who you claim opresss [sic] you. Get over yourself, Sincerely, Britain," broadcaster Sophie Corcoran tweeted.
"Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are mediocre people. Instead of moving from that story (Royals), they carry on with the same subject. I am sick of it. How ridiculous they are- talking constantly about the same subject- “the Royal family hatred towards them”. Move on from that," Oliver Misher added.
Meanwhile, Sussex supporters are hopeful that the docuseries would reveal that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are the real victims.
"I hope it's revealed that the royal family and UK press worked with the Markles to ruin #HarryandMeghan's relationship. They knew Meghan had a sterling reputation & unsuccessfully tried to use her grifter paternal relatives to put a spanner in the works. #HarryandMeghanonNetflix," the fan tweeted.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Accused Of Trying To Ruin The Institution
While Twitter users felt that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were trashing the royal family, a royal expert claimed they were aiming at the institution.
British journalist and author Angela Levin, who worked with Prince Harry for years for his biography Harry: A Biography of a Prince, felt that the royal couple was trying to destroy the monarchy.
"Meghan and Harry are all out to destroy the monarchy and everybody in it," Levin told The Sun. "Perhaps with the aim of becoming King and Queen themselves - it's never going to happen, it's a fairy tale."

Following the move, Levin said there "is no going back for Harry now." She also admitted that what she witnessed from Prince William's younger brother was "beyond shocking" and added that "I'm fed up with it."
"It puts the royal family in the most awkward spot. They don't want to get embroiled in a live row - especially not with someone who is in the family," she continued.
