Prince William was allegedly still furious at his younger brother when they reunited in August to unveil their mom Princess Diana's statute. The Duke of Cambridge allegedly didn't want to attend the event with the Duke of Sussex. So, his wife Kate Middleton had to act to make their public reunion possible.

"William was still furious," Sunday Times editor Roya Nikkhah said (via Express). "He had taken the view that he’d only give so much. He just didn’t want to go there [with Harry]."

Prince William was allegedly furious over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. During the two-hour TV special the royal couple made several allegations against the royal family.

Fortunately, the Duchess of Cambridge, who witnessed how close the royal siblings were before they were divided. Middleton convinced her husband to do it.

"[Catherine] was amazing behind the scenes when Harry came," an unnamed aide claimed.

Prince William Deny Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Racist Allegations

During Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview, the duchess claimed that a member of the royal family raised concern over their unborn child's skin color. The confession sparked racist allegations against the royal family.

Following the Sussexes' interview, Prince William and Kate Middleton visited a school in east London that had reopened following a national lockdown. They were rolling out a mental health project that the duchess launched three years ago.

Prince William was asked if he had already talked to Prince Harry. He responded to the question and defended the royals from the racist allegations.

"I haven't spoken to him yet, but I will do," Prince William said as quoted by Washington Post.

"We're very much not a racist family," he added in response to a follow-up question on whether the royals are racists.
