Prince Harry has reportedly been estranged from Prince Charles and Prince William for years. Throughout the past couple of months, the Duke of Sussex has said some negative things about his father and brother. For instance, he previously accused the heir to the throne of not supporting him financially. There are also claims that Prince Harry lashed out at Prince William after the latter shared his concerns about his brother’s relationship with Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry Can’t Reconcile With Prince Charles, Prince William Because Of His Memoir
Now, royal expert Richard Eden predicted that Prince Harry wouldn’t be able to repair his relationship with Prince Charles and Prince William anytime soon. After all, it’s highly likely for the Duke of Sussex to have mentioned negative things about the two royals in his memoir.
“There's a lot Harry could do but I really do think he is keeping his family at a distance until his book is published. I really, really do. I think that he is going to be saying some things which will be unpleasant and will go down badly with Prince Charles and Prince William and he almost, sort of, can't face them. I think that partly explains the awkward situation we had during the Jubilee and why they didn't want to spend time with each other,” Eden said (via Geo. TV).

Prince Harry Will Target Prince Charles, Prince William In His Memoir But Not Prince Andrew
Other royal experts also echoed Eden’s thoughts by saying that Prince Harry would most likely go after Prince Charles and Prince William in his memoir. According to royal author Tina Brown, the Duke of Sussex’s memoir will be a reflection of his strained relationship with the royal family.
In April, Daily Mail editor Dan Wootton also claimed that Prince Harry’s target in his memoir at Prince Charles and Prince William. Even though Prince Andrew has done some questionable things, the Duke of Sussex reportedly decided to spare him his criticisms.
“But there is a growing sense that Harry has decided to spare the Yorks the same sort of scathing treatment being prepared for his father and brother and their wives, at least in part due to his close relationship with cousins Princess Beatrice and Eugenie,” he wrote.
Prince Harry’s Memoir Isn’t A ‘Burn Book’
However, royal author Omid Scobie said that this wouldn’t be the case. In fact, he clarified that Prince Harry’s memoir wouldn’t be a “burn book” because the dad of two doesn’t have any plans to attack the royal family.
In his statement, Prince Harry explained why he ventured into writing his first memoir.
“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned— I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think,” his statement read (via Mirror UK).
As of late, the official release date of Prince Harry’s memoir hasn’t been announced. However, there were predictions that it would be released around the time of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. But when this didn’t happen, royal experts are convinced that the memoir will be released before the year ends.
