Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a multi-year deal with Netflix two years ago. Since then, the couple has been confirmed to release two projects.
Prince Harry’s documentary, Heart of Invictus, is currently in the works. And Markle was supposed to drop the animated series Pearl, but it was canceled by Netflix.
Now, there are reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in discussions with the streaming platform when it comes to new projects that they can release. Even though the couple previously said that they wouldn’t appear in any of the projects, there are whispers that plans changed somewhere along the way.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle To Star In Netflix Docuseries Similar To Keeping Up With The Kardashians
According to Page Six, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could star in a documentary series that will follow their lives and the lives of their two children in Montecito. An unnamed producer told the publication that the series would be similar to the format of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and teased the possibility that it could be called Keeping Up With the Sussexes.
The source also claimed that nothing has been finalized yet, but if the project will push through, it’s likely to air around the time that Prince Harry’s memoir is released.
“I think it’s fair to say that Netflix is getting its pound of flesh,” the source said (via Express).
According to the publication, cameras were also spotted following Prince Harry and Markle around in their home in Montecito. So, it’s possible that the clips that they took back in September would be included in the couple’s alleged docuseries for Netflix.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Want To Follow In The Footsteps Of The Kardashian-Jenner Clan
Other than Page Six, several other tabloids have been speculating on the possibility of Prince Harry and Markle starring in their own reality TV show.
In its May 23 issue, Globe magazine claimed that Prince Harry and Markle want to follow in the footsteps of the Kardashian-Jenner clan and have their own reality TV show.
An unnamed source told the tabloid that the couple’s fans in the United States love a Cinderella story, and this is what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are all about. After all, Markle, who grew up in a middle-class home, found and married her prince.
“Harry may have the title of prince, but in royal circles, he’s a nothing these days, and things will likely be the way until the end of his years. Big brother William is due to become King of England but even when that happens, Harry will still be just another embarrassing black sheep like his uncle Andrew,” a source said.
However, it is important to note that Netflix has not made an official announcement regarding Prince Harry and Markle’s future projects. But fans of the couple can rest easy knowing that there’s something in store for them.
For now, the couple is focused on Prince Harry’s Netflix documentary, as well as his upcoming memoir. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also have a podcast in the works for Spotify.
