Power Armor Editions of Fallout 76 Have Officially Sold Out

Fallout 76 is two months away but it looks like fans hoping to pre-order the game are about to have more limited options. Bethesda recently revealed that they have run out of the already rare Power Armor Editions of the game, meaning that they are completely sold out. Collector's items like these were always going to sell out quickly but to see one this expensive actually run out before the game's release is still fairly surprising.

When asked by a fan if there would be more, Bethesda marketing boss Pete Hines said that would not be the case since they already made as much as they could. This was inevitable and some fans are salty about it but that's the nature of these kinds of collector's editions. Expect fans to hike the price up and sell it on eBay when given the chance.

Despite this, Fallout 76 could still be a great game. Running out of a pricey collector's edition just proves how impactful this franchise has been to fans over the years.

Aside from not being able to get this edition of the game, fans are concerned about the online play and how it might disrupt the single-player experience. Bethesda said that wouldn't be the case during E3 2018 but we'll have to wait and see.

Fallout 76 comes out on November 14 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
