It was announced recently that the award-winning manga Delicious in Dungeon is getting an anime adaptation by Studio Trigger.

The anime adaptation was announced via the new Delicious in Dungeon TV anime website and official Twitter account. There, the teaser visual for the series was revealed. Check it out here:

The teaser visual features an overhead view of a tall tower, with the series’ four main characters sharing a delectable hotpot. But at the upper levels of the tower are monsters that are lurking in the shadows.

While the teaser visual was released, not much information about the upcoming anime was revealed. Aside from the fact that Trigger will handle animation, there’s no word yet on the series’ staff and cast.

Even without a staff announcement, anime fans have reason to be excited. After all, Studio Trigger is among the most popular anime studios currently.

The studio is renowned for works such as Kill la Kill, SSSS Gridman, and Promare. Trigger is also currently working on the second season of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

While not a trailer for the anime, Trigger worked on a 30-second animated promo video for the Delicious in Dungeon Volume 9 release. This might be a good indication of what to expect in the anime. Check it out here:
