Police University took a week off due to the Chuseok holidays, and despite not airing two episodes on September 20 and September 21, 2021, the KBS2 series still recorded a satisfactory nationwide viewership rating of 6% on its episode 14.
Police University is set on a National Police University campus where mystery and tension occur. The drama depicts the story of a passionate former detective, now a professor in the university, named Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun). He has 20 years of experience working on various crime divisions and cases until he had a complicated and challenging encounter with Kang Sun Ho (Jinyoung), a genius hacker who gets taken by the police for stealing money from an online gambling company.
Now that the series is nearing its end, the main characters must come up with the most difficult decision that will change their entire lives.
Police University Episode 14 Recap
Police University Episode 14 saw Kang Sun Ho seizing the ledger with the recordings of illegal transactions under the online gambling site. Professor Yoo Dong Man managed to save Noh Bum Tae and Joo Joon Wook from expulsion, as well as Oh Kang Hee and Kang Sun Ho. Instead, they only had penalty points and a warning.
However, while Dong Man firmly pointed out that the culprit is Hee Soo, he found out an unbelievable truth. When Dong Man and Sun Ho departed the hospital, the police suddenly arrested Sun Ho for assisting a culprit to escape. He was also taken without a warrant for violating the Information and Communications Act.
Filled with frustration, Dong Man storms into Chief Han's office. He makes sure that he will find solid evidence that he is involved in the illegal gambling site and warns him once again to get his hands off his students.
On the other hand, Kang Hee broke up with Sun Ho, putting the latter in a devastating situation. Dong Man then left the ledger to Sun Ho and let him decide what to do with it while he continued tracking down the natural person behind the illegal gambling site.
At the end of Police University Episode 14, Dong Man and Sun Ho discovered the real culprit is. As heartbreaking as it is, they must face the truth that the most respected principal of the school is not what they thought he was.
