Police University is slowly getting back on track after experiencing a slight downfall in its nationwide viewership ratings. Thankfully, the previous episode saw a 1% increase in its ratings which proves that the viewers are still hooked on the series' interesting storyline.
Police University is set on a National Police University campus where mystery and tension occur. The drama depicts the story of a passionate former detective, now a professor in the university, named Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun). He has 20 years of experience working on various crime divisions and cases until he had a difficult and complicated encounter with Kang Sun Ho (Jinyoung), a genius hacker who gets taken by the police for stealing money from an online gambling company.
Kang Sun Ho's life is in danger as he tries to capture the ones behind the illegal gambling site by himself.
Police University Episode 12 Recap
Police University episode 12 sees Yoo Dong Man receiving an answer from the other line when he tries to contact the number he found on Go Deok Bae's burner phone. Filled with frustration, he shouts at the top of his lungs as he questions who the person is. When he went outside his office, he witnesses the three professors who are also coming out of their respective rooms with their phones in their hands.
At the same time, Kang Sun Ho is threatened by a stranger that he will expose his hacker persona and his history of stealing from the illegal gambling funds to pay for his father's hospital bills. Kang Sun Ho is reluctant to inform Yoo Dong Man about the stranger as he doesn't want to burden the professor anymore.

On the other hand, Yoo Dong Man gets on a hit-and-run accident while he was tailing on Professor Choi Hee Soo. As his life gets endangered, Kang Sun Ho makes his own way of entrapping one of the culprits who managed to escape from the arrest they did with Go Deok Bae.
While Yoo Dong Man is silently lying on the hospital bed, the culprit tries to end his life. Thankfully, Oh Kang Hee arrives at the hospital room just in time to stop him.
Later, Chief Han Jung Sik pays Yoo Dong Man a visit. Not knowing that the professor just actually recently woke up from his long sleep, the chief exposes himself as a person related to his hit-and-run accident and probably is one of the big people behind the illegal gambling site. Coincidently, Oh Kang Hee was hiding behind the curtains, witnessing the revelation.

Police University episode 13 preview sees Oh Kang Hee finding out about Kang Sun Ho's past life as a hacker and his record when he was arrested by Yoo Dong Man for stealing money from the illegal gambling site. Kang Sun Ho informs Yoo Dong Man about what he found out when he encountered the culprit responsible for his accident.
On the other hand, Kang Sun Ho and Oh Kang Hee's relationship seem to be on a dangerous cliff as the latter wishes to stop being by his side. Noh Bum Tae and Joo Jun Wook also seemed to be given expulsion.
To save his friends and be a big help to Yoo Dong Man, Kang Sun Ho takes on the mission himself and eventually enters the lion's den that will put his life in danger.
