Pokémon Sun and Moon Trademarks Leaked Before Nintendo Direct Massive Reveal

Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that it will be broadcasting the new Pokémon Direct tomorrow morning in celebration of the franchise's 20th year. However, fans were kept in the dark about any detail on what the Japanese publisher is planning to present.

Now, it appears a leak has occurred as a fresh Trademark appeared, which is registered in the European Market.

First spotted by NerdLeaks, Nintendo apparently requested two new registrations today, February 25, titled Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. The trademark filing was done both in English and German and both titles come with logos.

It's safe to say now that Nintendo has every intention to announce two new Pokémon games, though what gaming platform we've yet to discover. It's expected that they will be made available on Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo Pokémon Direct will air tomorrow, February 26, starting at 10am ET via Twitch at twitch.tv/nintendo and Nintendo Direct website at nintendo.com/nintendo-direct.
