During the Pokemon Direct, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company made a lot of people happy when they announced Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, a remake of the original Gameboy Advance and DS games. Fans were even happier when they saw the new visual style of the game, which makes it looks like a storybook come to life but with Pokemon, so it's even better than a storybook.
The eyes of many Pokemon fans immediately lit up when 2006 was shown on screen, and when classic Pokemon Mystery Dungeon footage was revealed, people went crazy. The fact that we're getting a remake of the first two games is really nice and we'll even give The Pokemon Company some credit for not splitting this into two titles. We're already going to pay for the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass after all.
It was also announced that a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX demo would be released once the direct ended. That means fans can download it right now in the eShop and try this title out for themselves. Similar to the fantastic Dragon Quest XI demo, fans will be able to transfer their save data to the main game after. Just don't expect a 10-hour demo.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on March 6.
