Pokemon Go's Missing Team Leader Found

Earlier this month, we reported that Spark, the leader of Pokemon Go's Team Insinct was mysteriously missing from the game. Team Valor leader Candela had replaced Spark in Pokemon Go's appraisal warning, and Niantic didn't provide an explanation or warning about it.

However, after Polygon asked Niantic about the game's missing leader, the developer confirmed that Spark has been found and will return to the game in the next client update.

Players still don't know why Spark is missing. I hope Niantic will reveal an actual plot and provide a legit reason why the character suddenly disappeared.

Over the last year, Spark has been the victim of several memes and jokes, so his unexpected disappearance won't improve his reputation at all. We'll keep you updated about Spark's return, and who knows? Maybe, he'll get a makeover, and perhaps a buffed-up look would make him less of a joke.
