Pokemon Go is Coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2016

Pokemon Go, the world's hottest augmented reality mobile app, instantly became a sensation since its release last week, and fans who are attending San Diego Comic-Con 2016 will get a chance to see Niantic Labs foudner John Hanke, who helped develop the game.

The event where Hanke will appear is called Re-Imagining Reality: Bringing Games into the Real World with Ingress and Pokemon GO, and the program will be held on Thursday evening. The official SDCC site says that Hanke will "will examine the past, present and future of extending games beyond the screen and re-imagining reality through the lens of Ingress and Pokémon GO."

The panel will begin on Thursday at 5PM in room 25ABC, and it will most likely be packed. Hopefully, Niantic will reveal new features for the game.

San Diego Comic Con will take place at the San Diego Convention Center from July 21 to 24.
