Even though the new Pokemon anime has yet to get an official international release, fans will at least get to watch Pokemon Concierge next month. Ahead of its premiere, Netflix shared a new Pokemon Concierge trailer that revealed its four main Japanese voice cast members.
As a Japanese production, this series’ original language is Japanese, and unsurprisingly, there are some notable names in the cast. It will also get an English dub that stars Karen Fukuhara in the lead role.
This series is not a typical anime. Instead, it’s a stop-motion project that promises to be a relaxing watch for Pokemon fans.
Pokemon Concierge: Netflix’s Upcoming Stop-Motion Series
Netflix has been beefing up its anime lineup over the past years, be it through getting exclusive streaming rights for titles like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, or through original productions like Pluto.
The streaming giant has also been busy with live-action anime adaptations, including the mega-hit One Piece series, as well as the upcoming Yu Yu Hakusho live-action show.
Another area that Netflix has been looking into is stop-motion. Previously, Netflix released two Rilakkuma stop-motion titles. Now, Netflix is gearing up to launch Pokemon Concierge.
Revealed during Pokemon Day back in February, this upcoming series follows Haru, a concierge at a Pokemon resort.
There, Haru will interact with various Trainers as well as a wide range of Pokemon. Based on the promotional videos for it, the series’ main Pokemon is Psyduck.
This is an interesting premise given that many Pokemon shows are more adventure-focused. This should make it a relaxing watch for both long-time fans and casual followers.

Pokemon Concierge Reveals Four Main Voice Cast Members
To hype up the show’s launch, a new trailer was released that revealed the four main cast members. Voicing Haru is Non, the voice actress of Suzu Hojo in MAPPA’s In This Corner of the World.
Joining her is Ai Fairouz as Arisa. Fairouz is one of the anime industry’s rising VAs as she has voiced popular characters like Jolyne in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Power in Chainsaw Man.
The two other cast members are Eita Okuno (Murakami in Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning) as Tyler and Yoshiko Takemura (Samantha in Tiger & Bunny) as Watanabe.
Pokemon Concierge will be released worldwide exclusively on Netflix on December 28, 2023. Currently, there’s no word yet on how many episodes the series will have.
