PLUS ULTRA! My Hero Academia's Izuku Midoriya Joins Jump Force Roster

It looks like Bandai Namco won't be done announcing Jump Force characters anytime soon. Not long after Trunks, Bea Hancock, and Renji Harabai, we now know that Izuku Midoriya will be a part of this game as well. The fact that it took so long to announce Midoriya, aka Deku, from My Hero Academia is baffling since the series is one of the most popular shonen out right now.

Right now, Deku is the only character from My Hero Academia confirmed, though more could be announced over time. He, Yugi Moto (Yu-Gi-Oh), Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star), and Ryo Saeba (City Hunter) are the sole representatives of their franchises, as most of the shonen represented here at least have a hero and villain each.

Then again, considering how popular My Hero is, it wouldn't be too surprising to eventually see All Might, Bakago, and more characters eventually revealed. If we can have more than five Dragon Ball fighters, more heroes or villains from My Hero Academia wouldn't be too bad. Also, why isn't Seto Kaiba or Ryo Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh here?

Deku actually looks better here than in My Hero One's Justice, though this game has the bigger budget so that isn't fair. After all, Jump Force has almost every character from Shonen Jump so it makes sense for Bandai Namco to pump some money into this game.

Jump Force comes out on February 14, 2019, so any lonely weebs out there can get this game on that day.
