Polish Magic: The Gathering profesional player Piotr Glogowski, a.k.a. Kanister, has won Mythic Championship VII without losing a match, taking home $100,000 USD and earning a spot in the Magic World Championships that will take place in Hawaii on February 2020.
In a Standard meta where the most common deck is Jeskai Fires, Kanister used a Jund Sacrifice to dominate the Magic: The Gathering Arena tournament. The deck is focused on generating a lot of value with a sacrifice-based strategy, using cards like "Witch's Oven", "Trail of Crumbs", and the Brawl Throne of Eldraine Commander, "Korvold, Fae-Cursed King".

With one Pro Tour Top 8 on his belt (PT Ixalan) and three Grand Prix Top 8s (all in Modern), Kanister also placed second with the Polish national team at the 2017 Magic World Cup. MCVII is his first MC win, and he will be one of the 16 players competing the at the Magic World Championships in February.
