Peter Gets Lectured By Captain America Detention Video In New Spider-Man: Homecoming TV Spot

Spider-Man: Homecoming is hitting the big screen in a little less than a month and Marvel's been busy making sure that everyone knows that the movie's dropping in soon. The studio's been releasing an assortment of TV spots reminding everyone that Tom Holland's first feature film as Spidey's going to show, and one of them shows off Captain America's (Chris Evans) cameo in a hilarious detention video.

Peter never really got to talk that much with Steve back when Holland debuted as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War – the only time they did get to interact was in battle when Peter stole off Captain America's shield and the two go head on head with the First Avenger later on praising the teen for his guts.

While it seems unlikely that the two get even closer in Homecoming, it seems like Captain America is still going to teach Spidey a thing or two in the highly anticipated Spider-Man movie.

Last weekend Marvel released a new TV spot for Spider-Man: Homecoming and Steve Roger's pops up in the last few seconds in what seems t to be a school tutorial video. Check the TV spot down here:

Spider-Man in detention listening to Captain America's lecture on video is a hilarious way to end the clip – who'd imagine that Peter would end up in detention listening to an old video tape of the Avenger he exchanged punches with back in Civil War?

Spider-Man: Homecoming comes swinging in theaters on July 7, 2017.
