Sources told National Enquirer, in its latest edition, that Pete Davidson is very close to his mom and had confided his floundering nine-month romance with Kim Kardashian. An unnamed insider told the entertainment news outlet:

“Pete grew disillusioned, so he ran it all by Amy and asked what to do. Amy never liked Kim. She never approved of her or what she did for a living – and the same went for Kim’s entire family. Obviously, Amy’s opinion tipped the scales and gave Pete the courage to dump her.”

Spies furthered that Amy was never onboard with the King of Staten Island star’s high-profile fling with Kim Kardashian. She was also opposed to Pete Davidson getting married to Kanye West’s ex-wife.

A tattler claimed:

“Amy saw her son was totally under the family’s spell, doing whatever they commanded 24/7. She was extremely alarmed [that] he gave up on his SNL career and shuddered at the idea of Kris and the rest of that rotten family being her in-laws. She’s so relieved Pete has finally come to his senses.”

The SNL alum proceeds to fling everything in his hands across the room, including his phone and follow Kim Kardashian into the bathroom.

However, an unnamed source told Page Six that:

“He’s in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete. [He is] a very private person [and she] was always super respectful of that.”

Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian dated for nine months following the SKKN founder’s hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in October 2021. Their romance was rife with matching hair looks, Kim-related tattoos and Instagram posts until they broke up in August 2022.
