Paul Bettany Says The Russo Brothers Are Making Avengers 4 “The Biggest Movie Of All Time”

Avengers: Infinity War might have blown fans away by bringing together the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy in an attempt to protect the universe against Thanos, but according to Marvel star Paul Bettany, Avengers 4 is going to be even more intense.

The home release for Avengers: Infinity War is out, and in it, fans get to see a special feature called Beyond the Battle: Wakanda. In the exclusive clip (via Screen Rant), Bettany goes on gushing about directors Joe and Anthony Russo who first joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe helming Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After directing their second Marvel movie, Captain America: Civil War, the directorial duo were entrusted with Marvel's two-part Avengers movie, a pair of films that Bettany says are going to be the "biggest of all time."

"They are extraordinary technicians," Bettany said in the featurette. "They are making the biggest movie of all time, with the biggest movie of all time right after it."

The Russo brothers did exceptionally well in bringing together so many heroes into one coherent and dramatic narrative in Infinity War and fans expect the directors to raise the bar higher in Avengers 4. It definitely isn't easy working on the culmination of ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the Russo brothers are doing it right, and they're going to do even better with Avengers 4.

Avengers 4 premieres May 3, 2019.
